Krysten Carpentry Joinery

Carpentry is an Art

A family-run business with over 25 years of craftsmanship. Quality you can see, durability you can trust.

We build fitted furniture, staircases, doors, and everything in between, from our base in Halesowen. Every job is measured, made, and fitted by Gary, with Chrissie keeping you informed every step of the way.

Gary and Chrissie · Halesowen's family carpentry trade

It is just the two of us: Gary on the tools and Chrissie on the phones. Gary measures, builds, and fits every piece himself, by hand, in your home. Chrissie makes sure you know what is happening and when, that you get a reply promptly, and that the job runs without surprises on your side.

We have been trading in and around Halesowen for over 25 years. In that time we have built fitted wardrobes and walk-in wardrobes, media walls, alcove units, staircases, front doors, garden decks, and more jobs than we can easily count. Most of our work still comes from people who were told about us by a neighbour or a friend, which we think says more than any advertisement ever could.

We are fully insured, we cover a wide range of project types, and we do not take on more than we can complete properly.

What our customers say

★★★★★

Gary was brilliant and his work was second to none. He was recommended by a friend and we couldn't be more pleased with what he built for us (a large bookcase and a bar and tv unit). Comms were great and very reliable.

Emma Hinton

★★★★★

Gary's recently helped us bring our ideas to life for our living room. We wanted a sapele media wall and wooden flooring. And he delivered with a crazy attention to detail, super professional and really friendly guy.

Tommy Mason

★★★★★

Had Gary build bespoke wardrobes in the main bedroom to take in the over-stairs area – essentially turning that into a walk-in wardrobe. They look absolutely stunning.

Gee Cee

★★★★★

Brilliant service from start to finish. Gary came to make us some under stairs storage and we were not disappointed. The end result is phenomenal!

Stacey Whitehouse

★★★★★

I can't recommend Gary enough! He's made and fitted shelves for two rooms in our house and hoping to get him back for a third set. I was honestly amazed with how he made the floating shelves.

Sara Carter

★★★★★

Absolutely top class service and work from Gary and Chrissie. Gary had great vision to interpret my requirements into finished products.
